SAHB Hair and Beauty Clinic is thrilled to share the news that we have just received our Gold Salon Accreditation with the Australian Hairdressing Council! This is a huge moment for our salon which signifies our commitment to excellence in every business, but particular customer service.

The Australian Hairdressing Council sets the standard for salons across the country and holds to account hairdressing professionals. As members of the Australian Hairdressing Council, we’re part of our united front to ensure you, our beloved customers, receive the very best our industry has to offer wherever you go.
Part of our involvement is the opportunity to be assessed by the Australian Hairdressing Council and have our business meticulously audited by some of our industry’s greatest icons and yes, we absolutely smashed it! To receive a Gold Salon Accreditation with the Australian Hairdressing Council is the highest achievement a member can reach so it’s safe to say, the entire team at SAHB are so proud of this achievement.
Today, we thought we’d run you through the criteria our business had to meet and exceed in order to achieve this Gold Salon Accreditation. Anyone that’s been a client of SAHB for a while will know how passionate we are about training and education. It’s at the forefront is how we ensure our team bring the absolute very best. We regularly engage our suppliers and industry experts to provide hands-on education sessions for our team so that they can grow, evolve and advance as hairdressers. Whenever we welcome a new product or service into the business, our team undergo intense training before launching it to our clients. This ensures that we’re the experts on everything we offer here at SAHB so that all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your experience.
Outstanding customer service
An exceptional customer experience is something we’re so incredibly passionate about here in the salon with policies and procedures ensuring you receive flawless service every time. It is also one of the criteria we have to meet and become an accredited salon.
The way this was assessed was through a mystery shopper sent to us by the Australian Hairdressing Council. A mystery client was booked in for an appointment at SAHB where throughout their time with us, was assessing their overall experience. From their welcome at the front desk, refreshments provided during their service, the quality of their colour, cut and style, the knowledge of their stylist and expert product recommendations, every stage of their appointment was fastidiously analysed.
Following their mystery shop, we were provided a report on the experience with any recommendations and suggestions from the Australian Hairdressing Council of how we can enhance and continue to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We loved receiving this feedback so we can use it as a tool in team training and as a benchmark for all of our clients’ experience.
